This was something I'd never tried before, but have seen done. We were given brushes taped to two foot long flemsy bamboo sticks. We had to hold this extremely long brush at the end and paint the figure. It was very difficult to steady the brush at that distance, but it drew the most delicate line. After we laid down the basic contour, we could shorten the brush handle and work in more details.
