Summer 2004

Most of the prints in this collection are made by rolling ink onto a plexiglass surface and then wiping out the image with q-tip or baby wipe. Because I used more than one color, it is called a three color reduction monoprint. Each color is rolled on seperately so that each sequential print must be registered. I love this method because it is challenging and though controllable to a point, there is a spontaneity to the process.
